I.A.M.A. SONGWRITER ACADEMY will feature Dana Hubbard along with Matt Harlan, RJ Cowdery and Mike Beck in the evening concert and afternoon workshops on Jan, 21, 2012 in Salt Lake City UT.  Then on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, Dana will participate in the  ACCESS FILM-MUSIC SHOWCASE  concurrent with Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT.

Dana will perform the opening set for Friday night's concert featuring Steve Seskin and Craig Carothers at the MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL at Snowbird, south of Salt Lake City UT on July 15, 2011.

Dana returns to the 2011 TUCSON FOLK FESTIVAL Apr. 30-May 1, 2011 He's a finalist in the Song Contest on Saturday and willl be performing at the Museum Stage on Sunday at 6:30PM.  http://www.tkma.org/

Dana wins the Ashland Blues Society's Road to the International Blues Challenge and will be their representative to compete in the 2011 International Blues Challenge hosted by The Blues Foundation in Memphis, TN,  February 1 - 5, 2011.

Dana Hubbard announced as a finalist in the Susanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter Showcase at the 2010 MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL held on July 9-11 in Snowbird (Salt Lake City) UT.  He will also compete in the Utah State Instrumental Championships, -Finger-style Guitar Category

Dana Hubbard is the FIRST PLACE WINNER in the Acoustic Blues Competition at the  2009 TELLURIDE  BLUES & BREWS  FESTIVAL He competed with five other finalists from across the country at the festival on Saturday morning the 18th and was awarded FIRST PLACE!  As such, he got to perform the main stage winner's set at 5:00PM that evening to open the night's festivities where Buddy Guy was the headliner!  Other headliners that weekend included Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Taj Mahal, Jackie Green, Ruthie Foster & more...
